Karen has 25 years experience in the construction and engineering industry, starting as a Building Cadet and Contracts Administrator and later as a Project Manager and Project Director for both head contractors and professional services practices. Her background, which covers the full lifecycle of construction projects from feasibility studies to procurement, delivery and commissioning, provides a sound basis for her primary role as a programming, delay and disruption expert witness. She is highly regarded both for her attention to detail and her practical, real-world approach to the analysis of delay and disruption on construction and engineering projects, which has been informed by her experiences at the front-line of project delivery.
She has undertaken many appointments as Expert witness on programming, delay and disruption issues on major projects in Australia and internationally and has given oral evidence in litigation and tribunal proceedings.
